Railway Group D 2025. The Railways offer the largest number of jobs in the country, attracting millions of applicants. If you have applied for the Group D Level 1 recruitment exam conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), the board will soon release the city intimation slip. Candidates who have applied for this recruitment will be able to download the city slip from the official RRB Chandigarh website, rrbcdg.gov.in, using their login details.

This city slip will allow candidates to access their exam city information and plan their travels accordingly. However, this city slip will not be the admit card, so candidates will be required to download the admit card that will be released later.

When will the RRB Group D Exam 2025 begin?
According to the schedule released by the Railways, the RRB Group D CBT exam will be conducted from November 17th to the end of December 2025 at designated exam centres across the country. The exam will be conducted in multiple shifts to ensure equal opportunities for all candidates.
When will admit cards be released?
As per RRB rules, admit cards are issued four days before the exam date. For candidates whose exam is scheduled for November 17, 2025, admit cards are expected to be issued by November 14, 2025.
Keep in mind that a city slip alone will not grant entry to the exam centre. Candidates must carry their admit card along with a valid photo identification card (such as an Aadhaar card, driving license, or PAN card) to appear for the exam.
Process to Download RRB Group D City Slip 2025
Candidates can download their city intimation slip by following the simple steps below:
- First, visit the official RRB website, rrbcdg.gov.in.
- Click on the “Group D City Intimation Slip 2025” link on the home page.
- Log in by entering your registration ID, password, and captcha code.
- Your city slip will now appear on the screen.
- Download it and take a printout.

RRB Group D CBT Exam Pattern 2025
The Railway Group D exam will be conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT). The exam will consist of a total of 100 multiple-choice questions, which must be solved in 90 minutes.
The subject-wise distribution of the question paper will be as follows:
- Mathematics: 30 questions
- General Intelligence & Reasoning: 30 questions
- General Science: 25 questions
- General Awareness: 15 questions
Candidates taking the exam should note that negative marking (0.25 marks) will apply for each wrong answer, so answer carefully.
Important Instructions
- Arrive at the examination centre well in advance, as entry will not be permitted after the gates close.
- Mobile phones, Bluetooth, or any electronic gadgets will not be permitted.
- Candidates should carry two printouts: one of the admit card and the other of their photo identification card.
