A major update has arrived for candidates preparing for jobs in the Delhi Police. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the exam schedule for four major Delhi Police recruitments: Constable (Driver), Constable (Executive), Head Constable (Ministerial), and Head Constable (AWO/TPO). Which recruitment exam dates have been released?
According to the notice issued by the SSC, the exam dates for four major Delhi Police recruitments are as follows:
- Delhi Police Constable Driver 2025 – December 16–17, 2025
- Delhi Police Constable Executive (Male/Female) – December 18, 2025 – January 6, 2026
- Delhi Police Head Constable (Ministerial) – January 7–12, 2026
- Delhi Police Head Constable (AWO/TPO) – January 15–22, 2026

Delhi Police Constable Driver Exam: The First to Begin
Under the Delhi Police Constable Driver Recruitment 2025, recruitment will be made for 737 posts. The first exam for this post will be held on December 16 and 17. The computer-based exam will consist of 100 questions and a total of 100 marks. It will include:
- General Awareness: 20 questions
- General Intelligence: 20 questions
- Numerical Ability: 10 questions
- Road Sense, Vehicle Maintenance, Traffic Rules, etc.: 50 questions
- Negative marking of 0.25 will apply in the exam. The final merit list will be released after the PE&MT, document verification, and trade test.
Constable Executive: The Largest Recruitment Drive
This recruitment drive has 7,565 vacancies, making it one of the largest ongoing processes for the Delhi Police. The written exam will include:
- General Knowledge/Current Affairs: 50 questions
- Reasoning: 25 questions
- Numerical Ability: 15 questions
- Computer Knowledge: 10 questions
- The exam will be 90 minutes long. This will be followed by a physical test and medical examination.

Head Constable Recruitments: Ministerial and AWO/TPO Dates Also Released
Exams for Head Constable (Ministerial) and AWO/TPO candidates will also be held in January 2026.
- HC Ministerial: January 7–12, 2026
- HC AWO/TPO: January 15–22, 2026
Both recruitments will be followed by typing/skill tests, physical and medical procedures.
