CLAT PG 2025 Amended Result Declared : The revised result of Common Law Admission Test Postgraduate (CLAT PG) 2025 has now been officially released. This result was released on 10 June 2025, in which the final answer key was updated keeping in mind the instructions given by the Delhi High Court on June 6 and the new result was declared on that basis. This time the exam is considered to be of total 118 marks, as two questions have been removed.
The CLAT PG 2025 exam was conducted on 1 December 2024 at 141 examination centers across the country, spread across 25 states and 4 union territories. Now candidates can download their scorecard by logging into their CLAT 2025 portal. This portal is available on the official website of Consortium of NLUs consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
After the result is released, now those candidates are being called for further counseling process, who are eligible as per the merit list and admission matrix released by each NLU. For this, candidates have to login to their CLAT account and check in which round they have been called for counseling.
The counseling registration process has started on June 11 at 1 pm and it will continue till June 13 at 5 pm. During this time, it is mandatory for all the candidates to fill the preference of at least 15 institutions. If they wish, they can update their preferences as many times as they want till the registration deadline.
The counseling fee for general category candidates has been kept at ₹ 30,000, while SC, ST, OBC, BC, EWS and PWD category candidates will have to pay a fee of ₹ 20,000.
Every candidate who gets a seat in an NLU is given three options – freeze, float or exit. If a candidate wants to confirm the seat he got in a round, he will have to pay a non-refundable confirmation fee of ₹20,000.
On the other hand, if a candidate has not got his first choice of university and hopes that he can get a better option in the next round, then he can choose the ‘float’ option. This will secure his seat, but change will be possible if a better option is found.
If a candidate does not want to participate in the counseling process for any reason, he can also opt out of this process by choosing the ‘exit’ option.
For all the students who want to take admission in NLU through CLAT PG 2025, this is now the final and decisive step. Timely registration, correct selection of preferences and payment of fees – all these steps are very important so that the candidate can get a seat in his favorite law university.
The counselling process of CLAT PG 2025 is completely online, so candidates must keep logging in to the consortium website from time to time and read all the important instructions carefully to avoid any confusion.
