BPSC AEDO Vacancy 2025: Candidates who want to apply for the recruitments coming under the Bihar Union Public Service Commission (BPSC), then there are great job opportunities available. BPSC has announced recruitment for 935 posts of Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) in the education department of the state. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for recruitment to these posts on the official website of the commission, bpsc.bihar.gov.in. The thing to note for the candidates is that the last date for online application is 26 September 2025.

The state government is recruiting in many departments before the assembly elections. Now recruitment is being done for the posts of Assistant Education Development Officer in the Education Department. The candidates selected in this recruitment will get a pay scale of Rs 44900 to Rs 142400 as per the guidelines of the Seventh Pay Commission, while the AEDO will get a salary between Rs 50,000 to Rs 70,000 every month. Apart from this, they will also be eligible for many facilities and allowances of the government.

Eligibility for application

To apply, the applicant must have a graduation degree in any stream from any recognised university. Talking about the age limit, the age should be between 21 years to 37 years. The maximum age limit for unreserved male candidates is 37 years, while for backwards class / extremely backwards class (male and female) and unreserved women, it is 40 years. The maximum age for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (male and female) candidates is 42 years.

The applying candidate will have to pay an application fee of only Rs 100. If the candidate does not link his identity details with the Aadhaar card, he will have to pay Rs 200 as a biometric fee.

Selection process in recruitment

Written examination – Selection of candidates for these posts will be done based on the written examination. In this, the candidate will have to answer a total of 100 objective questions in a period of two hours.

Document Verification- After this, there will be document verification, in which the selected candidates will have to submit the original copies of all the necessary certificates given in their online application.

Merit List- In the last written examination of this recruitment, a merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained.
