BPSC 71st Prelims Guidelines:- BPSC 71st Prelims 2025 will be held on September 13 at 912 examination centres in 37 districts. Candidates must arrive at the centre two and a half hours before the exam and carry a clear copy of the e-admit card. Approximately 470,000 candidates are scheduled to appear in this examination. At the same time, 50244 candidates will appear for the examination at 70 centres in Patna. BPSC has made special arrangements to prevent malpractice in the examination. A sufficient number of police officers have been deployed at all the centres. Many rules must also be followed when taking the exam. Along with this, mobile, calculator and electronic devices are completely banned.

Candidates appearing in the examination can download their admit card from the official website bpsc.bihar.gov.in. It has also been clarified by the commission that do not trust any rumor or misinformation.

Strong security arrangements at every centre

The Bihar Public Service Commission said that the question papers will come in three different sets and each set will have four categories. At all centres, the packets of question papers will be opened in front of the candidates while videography is being conducted. Additionally, CCTV cameras, mobile jammers, and biometric verification have been installed at every centre to prevent cheating. Police force has also been deployed at all the centres for security.

Exam Guidelines

Candidates must carry an Aadhaar Card / a PAN Card / Driving License for identification.

Candidates will be allowed to enter the exam centre only after the centre superintendent has verified and matched all the documents and photographs received from the candidate.

Admit cards will not be sent to the candidates by post.

Candidates have to take an extra copy of the e-admit card to the exam centre.

The roll number and barcode should be clearly visible on the printed admit card.

Candidates must arrive at the exam centre two and a half hours before the exam commences. Entry to the exam centre will start at 9:30 am and no candidate will be allowed entry after 11 am.

The exam timing has been fixed from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

No one will be allowed to leave before the exam is over.
