Bihar STET 2025 Postponed: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has shared significant information regarding the online application for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025. Bihar School Examination Board has currently stopped online application for STET 2025 due to technical difficulties. The application process for the STET exam was scheduled to start by the Bihar School Examination Committee on September 11, but it has now been postponed due to technical reasons. BSEB provided this information on September 13. The board will soon release new dates for filling out the application form.
According to the notice issued earlier, registration was scheduled from September 11 to September 19; however, new dates will be released soon.
The Bihar School Examination Board said in its official statement, ‘Candidates aspiring for Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test 2025 are informed that the online application dates, which were earlier scheduled from September 11 to September 19, 2025, have been postponed due to technical reasons. Now new dates will be announced very soon.’
When will the exam be held
STET 2025 exam will be conducted from October 4 to October 25. The result can be released on November 1, 2025. Candidates who pass Papers 1 and 2 will receive a lifelong, valid STET certificate, which is required to become a teacher in government secondary and higher secondary schools of Bihar. Bihar STET exam will be in two parts. Paper-1 is for those candidates who want to teach in classes 9 and 10, while Paper-2 is for teachers of classes 11 and 12.
Fee for appearing in the STET exam
To appear in the Bihar STET exam, candidates of the General, BC and EWS categories who will apply for the single paper will have to deposit Rs 960 and Rs 1440 if they apply for both papers. SC, ST, PH category candidates who apply for a single paper will have to deposit Rs 760 and Rs 1140 if they apply for a double paper.
