LPG price today: Consumers were disappointed when the price of domestic LPG cylinders was hiked on June 1st. Commercial cylinder rates had already risen significantly, causing widespread dismay. Rising tensions in the Middle East have significantly affected crude oil imports, leading to price hikes not only for petrol and diesel but also for other commodities.
Despite a massive surge in global fuel prices, consumers are paying relatively lower rates. This results in a loss of approximately ₹700 per cylinder, a burden being borne by public sector oil marketing companies.
