Delhi-NCR Weather: Today marks the last Monday of the holy month of Sawan, and the weather has taken a significant turn. Since morning, the skies over Delhi-NCR have been overcast, and heavy rain is now lashing several areas, including Greater Noida. The rainfall has led to a noticeable drop in temperature, offering residents relief from the oppressive, humid heat.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to remain wet throughout the day on August 24. Heavy downpours have commenced in Ghaziabad, Noida, and Greater Noida, causing temperatures to fall across the region and making the weather pleasant once again.

Heavy rain in Ghaziabad has slowed down vehicular traffic on the highways. While the rain has brought relief from the heat, it is significantly disrupting traffic flow, with the potential for congestion on highways and other major roads. The Meteorological Department predicts that the skies over Delhi-NCR will remain cloudy all day, with spells of heavy rain continuing.
