Bengal Weather Update: The weather in Bengal keeps changing. The mercury is expected to dip again, according to the Alipore Meteorological Department. They predict a drop of 2-3 degrees in minimum temperatures across various districts, including Kolkata. However, it’s uncertain how much of a winter chill we’ll actually feel since Kolkata’s minimum temperature has already surpassed 20 degrees. On Thursday, it might hover around 22 degrees. Additionally, light rain is anticipated in two districts of the state.
When can we expect the temperature to fall again
The Meteorological Department has indicated that there won’t be any temperature changes in the Gangetic West Bengal districts over the next 24 hours. After that, we could see a decrease of 2-3 degrees in the following two days, followed by another rise of the same amount. The same goes for the North Bengal districts, where no changes are expected in the next day, but a similar pattern of temperature drop and rise will follow.

There’s a chance of light rain in isolated areas of Darjeeling and Kalimpong today and Friday, with a possibility of snowfall in Darjeeling.
