CJP Protest Update: The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has declared a protest scheduled for today at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. The founder of CJP, Abhijeet Dipke, has traveled from Mumbai to Delhi for the protest. Authorities have detained roughly 1,000 individuals since last night. Entry and exit routes to Jantar Mantar are currently blocked, and around 35,000 police and paramilitary forces have been deployed.

 More than 1,000 people have been taken into custody

The Delhi Police have refused permission for the demonstration, resulting in the detention of protesters. Approximately 1,000 protesters have been detained so far. About 250 individuals were detained in the vicinity of Shaheen Bagh at midnight, with over 100 from Shahdara and East Delhi.  People have been detained near the railway station, bus stand, and airport.

Deepak questioned if Modi and Shah were initiating conflict against the citizens, expressing concerns over the shutdown of services and heavy security measures in Delhi.

Train Cancelled Update

Trains arriving at New Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin stations between 4 am and 2 pm today have been canceled. 57 metro stations will be closed.  Liquor shops will not operate.  Sarai Kale Khan and New Ashok Nagar Namo Bharat stations will be closed until 10 pm.  Some traders will keep their shops shut for security reasons, including those in Connaught Place.

Delhi Police officers have been equipped with body cameras to address allegations of misconduct. Drones are being used for surveillance, and security personnel are stationed at New Delhi Railway Station. A total of 35,000 troops have been deployed in and around the capital.
