Long queues in camps. Interest is high to fill the Yubasathi scheme form to get 1500 rupees per month and 18 thousand rupees per year. The scheme announced by the Mamata Banerjee government before the upcoming assembly elections has brought a big surprise. According to this scheme, unemployed youths with secondary school education will get 1500 rupees per month. But can they get Yubasathi if they work in the private sector? What do the rules of the scheme say?
Under what conditions will the Yubasathi money be available?
Only unemployed people aged 21 to 40 who have completed secondary school can avail the benefits of this government scheme. Even if they get government scholarships like Aikyashri or Medhashree, they will get the money of the Yubasathi scheme. Initially, it was announced that the wheels of this scheme would be available only for 5 years. Later, the Chief Minister said that if someone cannot get a job within these 5 years, their scheme benefits will be renewed.
Who will not get the benefits of this scheme?
If you are under a scheme like Lakshmi Bhandar or Kanyashree, you will not be able to get the money of the Yuva Sathi scheme. At the same time, if the applicant is currently working in any government or private job, you will not get it. However, it is reported that if you do tuition, you will get the benefits of this scheme.
Will private employees get Yuva Sathi money if they fill up the form?
Private employees work under an organization and receive a fixed salary from there. As a result, salaried employees cannot take the benefits of the Yuva Sathi scheme at all. There is a self-declaration column at the end of the Yuva Sathi scheme form. There you have to state that you are a permanent resident of West Bengal, that you are unemployed till now and that you are not getting help under any social security scheme or any allowance of the West Bengal government, except for educational benefits or scholarships provided by the state government.
If you get any employment during this period, immediately inform the authorities. At the same time, all the documents and information submitted by you are true. If any information or document is found to be false, legal action will be taken against you and the benefit will be withdrawn.
This means that if someone wants to take advantage of the Yubasathi project even though they are employed in a private organization and fills up the form by concealing information, legal action will be taken against them.
