The Modi government at the Centre has given a big answer to the demand to double the instalment amount of the M Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Clarifying the situation in Parliament, the government said that at present, no proposal to increase the amount of PM Kisan Yojana is under consideration. This means that farmers will continue to get financial assistance of Rs 6,000 every year in three instalments.
Every four months, the government will transfer an instalment of Rs 2,000 only. This is a big setback for the farmers. Earlier, it was expected that the government might increase the money in the next instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. But now there is no possibility of this happening at all.
When will the 21st instalment of Rs 2,000 come?
The question arising in the minds of all the farmers i,s when will the money for the next instalment of Rs 2,000 come?. It is expected that the government can release the money for the 21st instalment by October 2025. Many croppers are likely to get their money. The government had released the money for the 20th instalment of Rs 2,000 on 2 August 2025.
