Loans divided into four categories
Under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, loans are divided into four categories. Loans up to ₹ 50,000 are available in the Shishu category. Loans ranging from ₹ 50,000 to ₹ 5 lakh are given in the Kishore category. Tarun category offers loans ranging from ₹5 lakh to ₹10 lakh, while Tarun S category offers loans ranging from ₹10 lakh to ₹20 lakh. This classification helps meet the financial needs of different types of businesses.

Under this scheme, a loan can be taken to start a new small business or run an old business, but there are some conditions for this. The applicant must be an Indian citizen and must have an Aadhaar card, PAN card, and bank account. Loans will be given only to non-corporate businesses.
