WB Krishak Bandhu Scheme Update: The Bhumihin Khetmajur Scheme was launched in 2026 to provide financial security to the workers of West Bengal who do not have cultivable land in their name and earn their living by farming on other people’s land. Under this scheme, a total of Rs 4,000 will be directly transferred to the bank account through DBT method annually—in two installments of Rs 2,000 each (during Rabi and Kharif seasons).

What is the Landless Farmer Scheme?

This scheme is for those who do not have their own land, but earn their living by farming on other people’s land regularly. This financial assistance has been launched keeping in mind that many of them are not included in the Krishak Bandhu (New) scheme or do not own land. The aim is to provide small financial support during the agricultural season-based expenses.

Application Process

Step 1: Collect form

• Collect the Landless Farmer Form from the Duar-e-Sarkar camp or the office of the local Agriculture Officer.
• If necessary, download the PDF from the official source and take a printout.

Step 2: Fill the form correctly

Personal details (Name, Date of Birth, Age as on 1.04.2026)

3. Gender and category (General/SC/ST/OBC)
4. Mobile number (must be linked to bank)
5. Voter card number
6. Bank name, branch, account number, IFSC, account type
7. Nominee’s name and relationship
8. Applicant’s signature and signature on declaration

Step 3: Attach documents

Submit the form to the concerned camp/office along with the required documents. Tick the document box.

Step 4: Collect Acknowledgement Receipt

After submission, collect Acknowledgement/Receipt and Application ID—this is important for later status check.

A few days after submitting the application, the status can be viewed online when an SMS arrives on the registered mobile.
