Recently, the country’s first sleeper Vande Bharat train has been launched from Howrah to Kamakhya. However, in the meantime, news of Vande Bharat closure on two routes has come to light. Recently, the Ministry of Railways has made some important announcements regarding the Vande Bharat train. Among them, the news of the launch of a new Vande Bharat Express train has also been given. At the same time, it has been informed that two Vande Bharat trains will be closed from this week.
The new Vande Bharat Express train will run between Rajasthan and Gujarat. This new semi-high speed train will run between Udaipur and Asarwa (Ahmedabad). The maintenance and operation of this train will be carried out by the North Western Railway (NWR).

A statement from the North Western Railway Board said, ‘For the convenience of passengers, the Railway Board has announced the Udaipur City-Asarwa (Ahmedabad) Vande Bharat train.’ It is hoped that this will increase connectivity between these two states and give a boost to the economy. Meanwhile, passengers will get a fast, comfortable and premium travel experience in this train.

Meanwhile, it has also been informed that two Vande Bharat Express trains will be closed from this week. These trains used to run on Udaipur City-Agra Cantonment and Udaipur City-Jaipur routes. Train number 20981/82 (Udaipur City-Agra Cantonment-Udaipur City) Vande Bharat Express will no longer run from February 15. Along with this, train number 20979/80 (Udaipur City-Jaipur-Udaipur City) Vande Bharat Express will no longer run from February 14.

List of the canceled Trains:
The Udaipur City-Asarawa (Ahmedabad) Vande Bharat Express train will run six days a week except Tuesday. The number of this train is 26963. It will depart from Udaipur city at 6:10 am and reach Asarawa at 10:25 am. At the same time, train number 26964 Asarwa (Ahmedabad)-Udaipur City Vande Bharat Express will depart from Asarwa at 5:45 pm and reach Udaipur city at 10 pm. According to North Western Railway sources, the train will halt at Jawahar, Dungarpur and Himmatnagar stations. The maximum speed of this train will be 160 kmph.
