Facing a storm of criticism, the Railways has made a radical change in the food of Vande Bharat Sleeper. Now passengers will get authentic Bengali non-vegetarian food in this train. The country’s first Vande Bharat Sleeper Express has officially started its journey between Howrah and Guwahati. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Kamakhya-Howrah-Kamakhya Vande Bharat Sleeper Express on January 17. After that, the train’s journey started from January 22. Although many passengers complained about the non-vegetarian food in this train. Politics also started. Trinamool strongly protested against this.
As soon as the news came out, the matter came to the notice of Balurghat MP Sukant Majumdar. He drew the attention of the Railway Minister about this. As the controversy increased, the Railway Ministry announced that non-vegetarian food will also be available in the Vande Bharat Sleeper train. On Wednesday, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) issued a statement saying that only chicken dishes will be available. There will be no fish items.
The most important update for passengers is the recently introduced non-vegetarian food. Realizing that food is the heart of Bengali culture, Indian Railways has created a menu that reminds of the taste of home-cooked food. Although the train has a high-quality vegetarian food facility, the newly added non-vegetarian dishes have already gained immense popularity.

Main course: Fragrant kadai-shuntir pulao, crispy bhaji and traditional fried moong dal.
Bengali favorites: Delicious chana dalna for vegetarians with soft fluffy paratha or spicy chicken kadai for vegetarians.
