Which women will benefit from the free cylinder

This Diwali, women covered under Uttar Pradesh’s Ujjwala Yojana (Ujjwala Yojana) are in for a major relief. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had announced free gas cylinders during the festival, and now this promise is being fulfilled. The government says that approximately 18.5 million women will receive LPG cylinder refills completely free of charge. This will directly benefit poor and middle-class families, especially those who face increased expenditure pressure during festivals.

Women benefiting from the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PM-Ujjwala Yojana) are provided free gas cylinder refills by the Uttar Pradesh government twice a year, on the occasion of Holi and Diwali. The government has issued clear instructions regarding the free cylinder on Diwali.
