Vande Bharat Train: If you’re a resident of Rajasthan, you’re in for a big treat. The government is launching two new Vande Bharat Express trains next week, offering a comfortable journey in less time. Indian Railways will operate the Vande Bharat Express to connect Jodhpur and Bikaner with Delhi.
Travel times on both routes could be significantly reduced. It’s believed the journey will be reduced by more than an hour. Sources indicate that PM Narendra Modi himself will flag off the new Vande Bharat on September 25, 2025. Important information regarding the timetable has also emerged.
What time will the train depart from Jodhpur?
Both Vande Bharat trains are expected to be a boon for travellers. They could boost not only tourism but also business. According to a tentative schedule, the train will depart from Jodhpur at 5:30 am and reach Delhi Cantt at 1:30 pm. On its return journey, it will leave at 3:10 PM and arrive in Jodhpur at 11:15 AM the same day. This means the journey from Delhi to Jodhpur will take approximately 8 hours, saving passengers considerable time.
Vande Bharat to run from Bikaner to Delhi Cantt.
The tentative timetable for the second Vande Bharat train has also been released. This Vande Bharat train will depart from Bikaner station at 5:45 AM and reach Delhi Cantt at 11:50 AM. It will then return from Delhi Cantt at 4:45 PM and arrive in Bikaner at 11:00 PM.
Sources indicate that Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will flag off both trains. While no official update has yet been released on this schedule, media reports claim September 25th.
Connectivity will be significantly strengthened.
According to railway officials, the operation of these two Vande Bharat trains will further strengthen connectivity with the new semi-high-speed trains, improving passenger experience. This will also boost the economy.
For your information, four pairs of Vande Bharat Express trains are currently operating in Rajasthan. The first Vande Bharat Express train was launched on April 12, 2023. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself flagged it off.
