Traffic Prahari App was first launched by Delhi Police in 2015. The app is quite user-friendly and has many innovative features. The first step is to download the app on your smartphone. To register, simply type in your mobile phone number, and you will receive a one-time password (OTP). Once logged in, users can upload images and videos along with time and location information.
Share details on the app
From jumping the red line, careless driving, wrong lane driving to illegal parking – all this can be shared on the app. Once the report is filed, Delhi Police verifies the information, ensuring that no personal complaint or fake news has been reported, then issues a challan.
The Traffic Prahari app is available on Google Play for Android users and on the App Store for iPhone owners. Delhi Traffic Police is encouraging citizens to participate in this campaign and is also offering monthly cash rewards. Depending on the number of reports filed by a user, one can earn Rs 50,000 for the first prize, Rs 25,000 for the second, Rs 15,000 for the third and Rs 10,000 for the fourth place.
