The entire process of the FASTag Annual Pass has been made extremely secure. To protect your personal and financial information, you can activate it only from two official platforms. The first way is NHAI’s official mobile app ‘Highway Yatra’, which is available on both Android and iOS platforms.
Through this app, you can check your vehicle’s eligibility and make a payment by securely linking the pass. The second way is NHAI’s official website, where you can activate the pass directly through the FASTag portal. In both ways, your pass is usually activated within two hours of payment.

Download and install the HighwayYatra app on your smartphone.
Open the app and find the “Annual Pass” option.
Tap on “Pre-Book” and follow the instructions on the screen.
Enter your vehicle registration number and check if your vehicle is eligible for the pass.
Complete the verification with the OTP received on your mobile number.
Choose your payment method, like UPI, net banking, etc.
View the complete fee details and make the payment.
Activate the pass from the NHAI website
First, go to the official website of NHAI and click on the FASTag Annual Pass option.
Check if your vehicle is eligible for the pass. For this, you have to confirm your vehicle number and the FASTag linked to it.
After the verification is complete, pay around ₹3,000.
Usually, within two hours, the pass will be linked to your FASTag.
