New Delhi: Since independence, the central and state governments have been running many excellent schemes for women in the country. Through these schemes, the government wants to empower women at the social and economic level. In this regard, last year the Odisha government started a very wonderful scheme. The name of this scheme is Subhadra Yojana. Under this scheme, the Odisha government is giving financial assistance of Rs 10,000 to the women of the state every year through two installments.

Benefit of Subhadra Yojana

Under each installment, an amount of Rs 5,000 is sent to the account of women. Subhadra Yojana is a very popular scheme in the state of Odisha. If you also want to take advantage of Subhadra Yojana, then you should know which women are given the benefit of Subhadra Yojana by the government?

If you want to take advantage of the Subhadra scheme, then your age should be between 21 and 60 years. If your age is less than 21 years or more than 60 years, then you will not get the benefit of this scheme. This scheme has been started in the state of Odisha, hence only permanent women of Odisha state can apply in this scheme. Women of any other state do not get the benefit of this scheme.

State Food Security Scheme

Women who wish to avail the benefits of Subhadra Yojana must have their name linked in the ration card under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) or State Food Security Scheme (SFSS). The benefit of Subhadra Yojana is given to those women whose family income is less than Rs 2.50 lakh. If a woman’s family income is more than Rs 2.50 lakh, then she does not get the benefit of this scheme. The benefit of Subhadra Yojana is not given even to those women in whose family any member holds a government job or files income tax returns.
