Talliki Vandanam scheme– Good news for student’s. The TDP-led NDA government in Andhra Pradesh has launched the Talliki Vandanam scheme. Under this, every student from class 1 to 12 will be given Rs 15,000 annually. This money will be sent directly to the student’s mother’s account. More than 67 lakh women will benefit from this scheme. The TDP government of Andhra Pradesh has announced this on the occasion of completing one year in power in the state. This scheme will be started from August 15.
CM Naidu had announced the scheme
Talliki Vandanam is one of the super six of welfare promises made by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu ahead of the 2024 elections. Government Secretary Kona Sasidhar said in an order that the government has issued guidelines for the implementation of the Talliki Vandanam scheme. It is a major initiative designed to empower women parents across the state.
The special thing is that both male and female students have been included in this scheme. As soon as the admission process of the student is completed, the money will be deposited in the mother’s account. The government has issued an order regarding this and finalized the guidelines. This money will be deposited in the bank accounts of the children’s mothers. In this way, a total of Rs. 15,000 will be deposited in the accounts of 67,27,164 mothers, and Rs. 8745 crore has been allocated for this, Education Minister Nara Lokesh said in a recent tweet.
There are some doubts about Minister Nara Lokesh’s tweet. Because.. to deposit Rs.15,000 each in the accounts of 67,27,164 mothers.. a total of Rs.100,90,74,60,000 is needed. That is, Rs.10,900,74,60,000 is needed. But Minister Lokesh said that Rs.8,745 crore has been released. That is.. there is still a shortfall of Rs.1345 crore,74,60,000. And it remains to be seen how the government calculated this. Let’s know the full details of this scheme.
