How to Update a New Address in an Aadhaar Card

The UIDAI’s online portal is available to update your address in your Aadhaar card. This process is completely secure and simple.

First, you need to visit the website myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in. This is the official website of UIDAI.

After the website opens, go to the My Aadhaar section and click on the Update Your Aadhaar option.

Select Update Aadhaar Online.

Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number.

An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter it and log in.

After logging in, the Address Update option will appear; click on it.

Now, carefully fill in the complete address of your new home.

Also, scan and upload a valid address proof document.

Submit the form if all the information is correct.

After submitting, you will receive a Service Request Number (SRN).

Using this SRN number, you can check the status of your address update online. Once the process is complete within a few days, the new address will be updated on your Aadhaar card. You can then download the updated Aadhaar online. This way, you can easily update your new home address on your Aadhaar card without any hassle.
