The country’s largest public sector bank, State Bank of India (SBI), has shared important information for its customers. SBI said that this week, all its digital services will be temporarily unavailable.
Services like Internet Banking, Retail, Merchant, YONO Lite, CINB, YONO Business Web, YONO Mobile App, and other YONO services will not be accessible. The bank announced on its official website that these services will be down for one hour, from 1:20 am to 2:20 am Indian time, on September 7, 2025.
Why Bank Services Will Be Closed
State Bank of India will do scheduled maintenance for one hour on September 7, 2025, from 1:20 AM to 2:20 AM. During this time, all online services will be unavailable. However, customers can still use UPI Lite and ATM services. The bank advises customers to plan their online transactions in advance to avoid problems.
Tasks You Can Do at ATMs and Be Prepared
SBI customers can do many important tasks at ATMs, such as PIN generation, PIN change, balance inquiry, mini statement, credit card payment, credit card application, cheque book request, and mobile number update.
Few people use online banking late at night, which is why banks choose this time for maintenance. If you often use online banking during this time, plan ahead. You can also use another bank’s platform or cash for transactions to avoid trouble.
