Speculation intensifies on the Eighth Pay Commission
Ever since the approval of the Central Government has been received regarding the Eighth Pay Commission. Since then speculation has intensified that the government will also increase the DA of the employees, which will increase their salary and also increase the pension of the employees. However, before the Center, the Tripura government has increased the DA of the state government employees from 30 percent to 33 percent. This DA will start being given to the employees from next month i.e. April 2025.
Chief Minister announced in the assembly
State Chief Minister Manik Saha announced the increase in DA in the assembly. He said that I have decided to increase DA by 3 percent for government employees and pensioners from April 1, 2025. He said that for this the government will spend an additional Rs 300 crore.
