Bank Holiday: Banks are closed in Himachal Pradesh and Sikkim today on Wednesday, June 11, on the occasion of Sant Guru Kabir Jayanti. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the list of holidays for June 2025. Banks will remain closed for a total of 12 days in the entire month. These include weekly holidays (Sunday and some Saturdays) and some other festivals. Always ask your bank branch for correct information about when the bank will open in your area.

When and where will banks remain closed in June

Every Sunday: All banks will be closed across India. (1, 8, 15, 22, 29 June)

Second and fourth Saturdays: All banks will be closed across India. (June 14 and 28)

National/regional festivals

7 June (Saturday): Bakrid (Eid-ul-Adha) – All banks were closed across India.

June 6 (Friday): Bakrid (Eid-ul-Adha) – Banks closed only in Kerala, open in rest of the states.

June 11 (Wednesday): Sant Guru Kabir Jayanti – Banks closed only in Himachal Pradesh and Sikkim, in rest of the states banks will function as usual.

June 27 (Friday): Banks will remain closed only in Odisha and Manipur on the occasion of Rath Yatra.

June 30 (Monday): Remna Ni – Banks will remain closed only in Mizoram and will remain open in the rest of the states.

What to do on a holiday?

Online/Mobile Banking: You can still use internet banking or mobile app during these days (unless there are any technical issues).

ATM: You can continue to withdraw money from ATM and make payments through app or UPI.
