Ration Card Update – These people will not receive free rations! The government is verifying them

Ration Card: The government is enacting several major regulations to bring transparency to the ration distribution system. The Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection Department is verifying more than 4.6 million suspected ration card holders. A significant revelation has been made that many ration card holders in the state have died, and a large number have also left their homes.

According to some reports, the names of 53,234 people will be removed from ration cards. These include 9,233 members from Raipur. Furthermore, the names of those with annual incomes exceeding ₹6 lakh, taxpayers who pay taxes, and those who own more than 5 acres of land will also be removed.

These included 19,574 members from Raipur district. Furthermore, after physical verification, it was discovered that many of these members have died. Furthermore, many have also left the state.

It will be surprising to know that the department has already removed the names of 1,93,063 members from ration cards across the state. 19,574 members were included in the Raipur district. The Central Government had provided information to fair price ration shop cardholders at the time of e-KYC. Furthermore, more than 46 deceased members who had not completed e-KYC were included in the list of suspects.

These people’s cards will be cancelled.

The department is conducting physical verification door-to-door. After removing the remaining members’ names from ration cards, the department will proceed to cancel the names and ration cards of those members. Those with annual incomes exceeding ₹6 lakh (approximately ₹6 lakh) and taxpayers will have their ration cards cancelled.

Furthermore, those with land holdings exceeding 5 acres will be removed. The department is also making large-scale preparations for this. Food Controller Bhupendra Mishra said that the names of over 19,000 members of Raipur district have been removed from ration cards. Nine thousand people remain. After these names are removed, further cancellations will be carried out as per the rules.
