Do you want to split your family’s ration card? If your family has multiple ration cards, then this is for you. Online applications have now been launched, allowing you to apply from home to split your family’s ration card (Ration Card Family Split Online West Bengal).

The Food Department has launched online submission of Form 13.

By filling out Form 13 online, your family will be separated. After applying online, the applicant will not need to submit any documents anywhere else. Furthermore, the application status can be checked online after submitting the application (Ration Split Family Status Check Online).

What documents are required to separate a family on a ration card?

1) Aadhaar card and ration card of the head of the family.
2) Proof of residence of the head of the family.

Online process for changing family details on a ration card:

1) First, visit the official website of the Food Department. You can also directly access the official portal by clicking on the link below.

2) Then, click on “Citizen Home” on the homepage. After that, click on the corner related to ration cards.

3) On the next page, click on “Services requiring office approval”. On the following page, click on “Apply Online”.

4) Then, enter the Aadhaar card number of any one of the members with whom you want to create a separate family, verify the OTP, and go to the Dashboard.

5) On the next page, click on “Online Form Service”, and then click on “Click Here” below Form 13.

6) On the next page, you will see the ration cards of all the family members. Now, click on “Next”, select the members whose ration cards you want to separate, and click on “Split Family” and then “Next”.

7) On the next page, select any one of the remaining members, verify their Aadhaar OTP, upload the documents (within 300KB) on the next page, and submit the application.

How to check the status of a ration card family separation application:

1) First, visit the official website of the ration card. You can also directly access the official portal by clicking on the link below.

2) Then, click on “Check Status Of Ration Card Application” on the homepage.

3) Then, select “Aadhaar Card” from the search type and enter the Aadhaar card number of the person whose Aadhaar card was used for login in the first step, and verify the OTP.

4) On the next page, click on “View” to check the status and see if the application has been approved or is pending.
