How to do Ration Card e-KYC from Home

To do e-KYC, first download the ‘Mera KYC’ and ‘Aadhaar FaceRD’ apps on your mobile phone. Open the app and enter your location. Then fill in your Aadhaar number, captcha, and OTP. Your information will appear on the screen. Now select the Face e-KYC option, the camera will turn on, click a photo and submit. After this process, your e-KYC will be complete.

How to Check e-KYC Status

If you have already completed your e-KYC, be sure to check the status. To do this, open the ‘Mera KYC’ app, enter your location, and fill in your Aadhaar number, captcha, and OTP. If the e-KYC is complete, ‘Y’ will appear in the status.

How to do Offline e-KYC

If the mobile app is not working, you can also get your e-KYC done at your nearest ration shop. For this, carry your Aadhaar card and ration card with you. At the ration shop, verification will be done through the POS machine using your thumb or fingerprints. Once the verification is complete, the e-KYC process will be considered complete.
