Government has extended the deadline

The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment has extended the period of annual physical verification of beneficiaries under the Social Security Pension Scheme for the year 2025 till 31 May. Given the demand and convenience of the beneficiaries under the scheme, the department has extended the last date of verification from 30 April to 31 May 2025. Beneficiaries should get their verification done immediately so that there is no interruption in the pension. This is your last chance to secure your pension.

Verification can be done through these methods

  • Pensioners can get their annual physical verification done through biometric or face recognition through e-Mitra Kiosk, e-Mitra Plus Center, and ‘Rajasthan Social Pension and Aadhaar FaceRD’ mobile app! The government has provided many options for the convenience of the beneficiaries.
  • Annual physical verification can be done on the basis of face recognition of the beneficiary through the Android mobile app developed for this.
  • Pensioners unable to step out of the house for annual physical verification due to old age or physical illness can get annual physical verification done from home through a mobile app by the concerned sanctioning officers.
  • In case of any difficulty in biometric verification by fingerprint, pensioners can get their annual verification done by appearing at the subdivision office with their PPO, Aadhar card or Jan Aadhar card. Physical verification of pensioners deprived of fingerprint biometrics can also be done by iris scan.
  • If the pensioner appears personally before the Pension Sanctioning Officer (Development Officer, Subdivision Officer), then physical verification can be done on the basis of OTP received on the registered mobile of the pensioner by entering the PPO number of the concerned pensioner on the SSP portal through the officer’s own SSO ID.
