Rajasthan Chief Minister Ayushman Durghatna Bima Yojana: The Modi government has launched a variety of schemes for the public. To provide financial security to ordinary citizens against accidents, the Rajasthan government has launched the Chief Minister’s Ayushman Accident Insurance Scheme, which will now offer free accident insurance cover of up to ₹10 lakh to eligible families. This scheme aims to provide financial support to families already enrolled in the Chief Minister’s Ayushman Arogya Yojana or the Rajasthan Government Health Scheme. Key features of the scheme:
Free accident insurance: Families registered under MAAY and RGHS will receive the benefit at no cost.
Eligible families: Families of employees of MAAY, RGHS, and the five state power companies are also included.
Death Assistance: ₹5 lakh will be provided for the death of one member.
₹10 lakh will be provided for the death of more than one member.
Disability Cover: In case of permanent disability due to an accident, assistance of ₹1.5 lakh to ₹3 lakh will be provided.
Each member’s name must be registered in the Jan Aadhaar. Additionally, claims can be filed online on the MADBY portal with digital certificates, FIRs, postmortem reports, etc. It is mandatory to keep the bank account linked to Jan Aadhaar updated.
