Today, from 20 June 2025, the country has got another new Vande Bharat Express train. A new Vande Bharat Express has started from Patna, the capital of Bihar, to Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. The first Vande Bharat Express ran between Delhi and Varanasi in the year 2019. In this journey of 6 years, a total of 70 more Vande Bharat Express trains have been started in the country so far.
Let us tell you that this Vande Bharat Express going from Patna to Gorakhpur is the 71st Vande Bharat Express train in the country. Currently, the maximum speed of this train has been fixed at 110 kmph, which will later be increased to 140 kmph. So what will be its fare? What will be the timing? Which routes will it pass through? A new Vande Bharat Express train has started from Patliputra to Gorakhpur. Including this train, now a total of 13 Vande Bharat trains are running in Bihar and a total of 15 Vande Bharat trains are running in Uttar Pradesh. This shows that connectivity in these states is constantly improving.
Talking about the timing of the new Vande Bharat Express train from Patliputra to Gorakhpur, this train will leave Gorakhpur at 5:40 am. After this, the train will reach Bagha at 7:30 am.
It will reach Narkatiaganj at 8:03, Bettiah at 8:35, Sagoli at 8:05, Motihari at 9:08, Muzaffarpur at 10:50, Hajipur at 11:40 and Patliputra at 12:45 pm. Talking about the return journey, this train will leave Patliputra Junction at 3:30 pm and reach Gorakhpur at 11:30 pm.

The new Vande Bharat Express train started from Patliputra in Bihar to Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh will start running regularly from June 22. Talking about the fare of this train, the fare of AC Chair Car from Patliputra Junction to Gorakhpur is ₹ 925. While the fare of Executive Class has been fixed at ₹ 1820.
After leaving Patliputra, this train will reach Gorakhpur via Ghazipur, Muzaffarpur, Bapudham Motihari, Sagoli, Bettiah, Narkatiaganj, Bagha and Kaptanganj. This route will connect many important cities for the passengers and make the journey fast and convenient.
Vande Bharat Sleeper will be launched soon
