PM Young Achievers Scholarship (YAS) 2025: The central government is running the PM Yashasvi Yojana for the students of classes 9th and 10th. Under this scheme, students of classes 9th and 10th are given scholarships up to Rs 1.25 lakh for further studies. Under this scheme, meritorious students of economically backward, OBC, and DNT categories get benefits. Apart from this, school-college fees up to Rs 2 lakh and laptops are available. PM Young Achievers Scholarship (YAS) 2025

The government has started this scheme for students of OBC, EBC, and DNT categories. Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided for education from class 9 to post-graduation.
Under this scheme, scholarships are given in 5 ways. Such as pre-matric scholarship, post-matric scholarship, top-class school education scheme, top-class college education scheme, and construction of hostels for boys and girls. Under this, financial help is given at different levels.

Eligibility for PM Yashasvi Yojana
The applicant should be a resident of India.
The annual income of the family should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh.
The student should be from the OBC, EBC, or DNT category (which is not covered in SC/ST).
Should not be taking advantage of any other scholarship.
If you do a course again, then you will not get a scholarship.
Only two children of the parents or guardians will get this scholarship
Scholarship under the scheme
Pre-Matric Scholarship
Rs 4000 is given annually under this scheme
For a top-class school education
Rs 75,000 to students of 9th and 10th
Rs 1,25,000 to students of 11th-12th
Top-class college education
Full tuition fees up to Rs 2 lakh for a private institute
Rs 3.72 lakh for pilot training from private flying club
Rs 3000 per month for food and accommodation
Rs 5000 for books and stationery
Laptop or computer worth Rs 45,000, its accessories, and a printer, etc.
When will the scholarship under the scheme be given

Every year, the scholarship will be given in installments before 15 August.
The scholarship amount is sent directly to the beneficiaries’ account through the DBT mode.
Documents required to apply
To apply, a passport-size photo, educational qualification mark sheet/certificate, income certificate, residence certificate, caste/community certificate, disability certificate, if applicable, bank account details, and other documents will be required.
How to apply for the scheme?

- You have to go to the official website of the National Scholarship.
- Now, click on New Registration from the Applicant Corner here.
- Fill in all the necessary information asked for registration and register.
- After this, you will get a user ID and password.
- After this, log in to the NSP portal with the application ID and password.
- Select a scholarship and fill out the application form.
- Now upload the required documents and submit them.
- The nodal officer of the school will verify the form online.
- It will also be confirmed online by the state government.
