According to the official notice, portals have been opened to take applications for pre/post-matric and top-class schemes of all ministries/departments. How much scholarship is available under NSP 2025

Under NSP 2025, scholarships are given in different ways.

Merit-Based Scholarship – For students with an outstanding academic record.

Means-Based Scholarship – For students from economically weaker sections.

Minority Scholarship – For students belonging to minority communities such as Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and Parsis.

Pre-Matric Scholarship – For students studying in primary and secondary school (up to class 10).

Post Matric Scholarship – For students pursuing education after class 10.

Central Sector Scholarships – Offered to undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and doctoral students.

State-Specific Scholarships – Offered by different state governments with their eligibility and benefits.

What is the eligibility?

To avail the NSP Scholarship 2025, students have to fulfill certain conditions. Such as the student’s household income should not exceed Rs 2,50,000. Along with this, the student has to pass his final qualifying examination and must have a valid Aadhaar card and a valid Aadhaar card. Apart from this, those applying under reserved categories will have to provide a valid caste certificate.

How to apply to the scheme?

NSP Scholarship 2025

  1. First, you have to go to the official NSP website, scholarships.gov.in.
  2. Click on the option of ‘Apply for Scholarship’ here.
  3. You have to register by giving your personal information.
  4. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
  5. Download the Aadhaar Face RD and NSP OTR app to do face verification.
  6. Complete facial recognition to create your One Time Registration (OTR) ID.
  7. Use the OTR ID when the scholarship application form opens.
  8. After this, fill out the application form, upload the required documents, and submit it.
