The main goal of the scheme is to evaluate artisans’ skills, offer both basic and advanced training, and supply them with essential toolkits. Artisans receive a toolkit incentive of Rs 15,000, which assists them in acquiring modern tools for their workshop or business. Moreover, they are provided with a daily stipend of Rs 500 during their training, which helps improve their financial circumstances.

Additionally, the scheme offers beneficiaries unsecured loans of up to Rs 3 lakh at a 5% interest rate. The first phase includes a Rs 1 lakh loan, which is repayable over 18 months, while the second phase offers a Rs 2 lakh loan, repayable over 30 months. These flexible loans are designed to help artisans launch and grow their businesses. To promote digital transactions, an incentive of Rs 1 is also provided for each digital transaction, up to 100 transactions.
