February 24 is set to be a big day for farmers since that’s when the installment money will hit the bank accounts of eligible farmers. However, some farmers might face delays in receiving their funds. Those enrolled in the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be receiving their 19th installment.

This installment will be officially released by PM Narendra Modi on February 24 during his visit to Bhagalpur, Bihar. He’ll not only launch the installment but also have a chat with the farmers. The funds will be sent directly to the farmers’ accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.

PM Modi is all set to roll out the 19th installment

Farmers can look forward to the 19th installment on February 24, with PM Narendra Modi making his way to Bhagalpur, Bihar for the occasion. He’ll be joined by several other leaders, including Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. During this event, PM Modi will transfer the funds to the eligible farmers’ bank accounts via DBT.

Some farmers might experience delays:

1. While around 9.7 crore farmers are expected to benefit from this 19th installment, there are still many who may miss out. The primary reason for this could be that some farmers haven’t completed their land verification process.

2. First off, if farmers haven’t completed their e-KYC, they won’t be able to access the installment benefits. The department has been clear from the start that getting e-KYC done is a must to enjoy these benefits. You can take care of this at your local CSC center or through the official scheme website, pmkisan.gov.in. But remember, if you skip this step, you’ll miss out on the installment perks.

3. Also, farmers who haven’t linked their Aadhar will face delays in receiving their installments. To fix this, just head over to your bank branch and link your Aadhar card to your bank account. Plus, make sure the DBT option is activated in your account; otherwise, you’ll lose out on the installment benefits.
