Business Idea: In contemporary society, there is a growing interest among individuals in establishing their own businesses. Many young people aspire to create job opportunities for themselves and others without relying on employment from established companies. To support this entrepreneurial spirit, the central government has introduced various loan schemes, such as the Mudra scheme, which facilitate access to financial assistance. One promising venture in this context is the manufacturing of banana powder, which has the potential to yield substantial profits.

If you are considering starting a business, the highly lucrative idea of banana powder production that we present today could be beneficial. Upon initiation, you can expect to generate significant earnings, especially given the low initial investment required. This business opportunity is particularly advantageous for farmers engaged in banana cultivation, as it can enhance their income. To embark on this venture, an initial capital of approximately 10,000 to 15,000 rupees will be necessary.

To produce banana powder, you will require two essential machines: a banana drying machine and a mixing machine. These machines can be conveniently purchased online, or alternatively, you may acquire them from local markets.

The process begins with cleaning the bananas in a sodium hypochlorite solution. Following this, the bananas should be peeled manually and immersed in a citric acid solution for five minutes. Subsequently, the bananas are to be sliced into small pieces and dried at a temperature of 60 degrees Celsius for 24 hours to ensure complete dehydration. Once dried, the banana pieces are ground into a fine powder using the mixing machine.

The resulting banana powder is characterized by a light yellow hue. It can be packaged in polythene bags or glass bottles for sale. The production cost of banana powder is minimal, with market prices ranging from 800 to 1,000 rupees per kilogram. Therefore, if you manage to produce five kilograms of banana powder daily, you could potentially earn a profit ranging from 3,500 to 4,500 rupees each day.
