PM Kisan Yojana– Crores of farmers in the country are taking advantage of the ambitious scheme of the Government of India, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. This scheme has been started keeping in mind small and marginal farmers. Under this scheme, farmers are provided Rs 6000 annually. Rs 2,000 is given in each installment. Rs 6000 is given in three installments in a year. Rs 2,000 is transferred to the farmers’ account every 4 months. So far, money has been sent to the farmers’ accounts in 19 installments.
It is being said that farmers can get the gift of the 20th installment in the month of June. However, no official announcement has been made about this yet. The 18th installment was released on 5 October 2024 and after this the 19th installment was released in February 2025. Both these installments were released at a gap of four months each. In such a situation, the next installment is expected to be released in June 2025.
To avail the benefit of the 20th installment under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, it is very important for the farmers to do some work. For this, it is very important for the farmers to get e-KYC done. If e-KYC is not done, then the installment of the farmers can get stuck. Along with this, it is also necessary for the farmers to get land verification done. If this is not done, then the money of the 20th installment can get stuck. Apart from this, the work of Aadhar linking is also very important. In this, Aadhar card has to be linked to your bank account.
