PM Kisan Yojana Installment Stuck? Know the Solution

Millions of farmers across the country wait year-round for the next installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, hoping to receive financial relief for farm and household needs. Amidst this hope, Prime Minister Narendra Modi transferred the 21st installment of this scheme directly to farmers’ bank accounts from Coimbatore. The installment of Rs. 2,000 has reached over 9 crore farmers through DBT. However, as always, a large number of farmers have not received their payments. The concern among such farmers is natural, but the solution is also simple.

The government has established certain eligibility criteria to be met to receive benefits under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. Many farmers have not yet completed their e-KYC, which is why their installments are withheld. Additionally, Aadhaar number linking with the bank account is mandatory. If this process is incomplete, the bank rejects the payment.

Farmers often fail to get their land verified, even though this step ensures that beneficiaries actually own agricultural land. Failure to do so can result in the installment being put on hold. In some cases, incorrect information on the form can also delay payments, sometimes leading to investigations. Therefore, farmers should first determine the reason for the payment delay.

How to get help if the installment hasn’t arrived?

If farmers have confirmed that all their information is correct and the installment hasn’t yet reached their bank account, they can seek immediate assistance. Helpline numbers such as 155261 and 011-24300606 are available for the scheme. They can call the helpline numbers and obtain detailed information about their payment status.

Farmers can also report their complaints by entering their registration number and mobile number in the helpdesk section of the PM Kisan portal. Farmers who prefer to submit their complaints in writing can email pmkisan-ict@gov.in. The government investigates these complaints and resolves them on a priority basis so that pending payments can be released soon.
