Huge irregularities have come to light in the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in Uttar Pradesh, on which the central government has expressed strong displeasure. The Union Agriculture Welfare Ministry has strongly objected to this and has given instructions to remove these irregularities immediately. Given the strict instructions of the Center, now PM Kisan Saturation Campaign will now be run in UP till May 31.
Under this campaign, teams of the Agriculture and Revenue Department will go door to door and survey every registered farmer. During this, whatever deficiencies are there in land marking, bank account / eKYC linked to Aadhaar, etc., will be rectified on the spot.
Apart from this, arrangements have also been made to remove the names of dead registered farmers and add the name of their successor. In this regard, the Chief Secretary of the Agriculture Department has also issued a circular to all the District Magistrates and District Magistrates, so that there is no hindrance in this campaign. This campaign will bring a big improvement for the farmers.
Instalments stuck in PM Kisan Samman Nidhi will now be available
During this campaign, all the cases related to PM Kisan Samman Nidhi will be resolved, which are stuck due to the non-availability of land marking, bank account linked to Aadhaar/e-KYC. The beneficiaries whose Aadhaar/land marking and e-KYC are found will be completed on a priority basis. If any beneficiary is found ineligible after verification, such cases will be marked ‘ineligible’, and if installments of Samman Nidhi have been released in the account of that ineligible person, then their recovery will also be started.
Applications pending in open source for more than 30 days will be settled on a multiplier basis as per the guidelines of the standard operating procedure. During this, information of all deceased beneficiaries will also be collected so that their next installments can be stopped and their legal heirs can be added to the scheme. This campaign will ensure that only the right farmers get the benefit of this scheme.
The 20th installment will come in June
The 20th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi will be released in the first or second week of June. Therefore, keeping in mind the strict instructions of the government, the government has instructed all eligible farmers to complete the upcoming formalities by 31st May, so that they can get the benefit of the next scheduled installment.
