PM Kisan Yojana: If you are a farmer and have not yet enrolled in the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, now is your chance. This program offers eligible farmers an annual grant of Rs 6,000, and this year marks the release of the 23rd installment. Each installment of the PM Kisan Yojana provides beneficiaries with Rs 2,000, which is deposited directly into their bank accounts. But do you know when the 23rd installment is expected to be released? Could it be in June? Let’s explore…

How much money is included in each installment?

Beneficiaries of the PM Kisan Yojana receive Rs 2,000 three times a year. This amount is transferred directly to their bank accounts. Thus, beneficiaries receive a total financial support of Rs 6,000 annually.

When are the installments distributed?

Under this scheme, installments are distributed three times a year. They are typically released every four months. As observed from the installments released so far. The 22nd installment of the scheme was issued on March 13, 2026. Each installment is released roughly every 4 months. Therefore, the four-month cycle for the 23rd installment will conclude in June. It is anticipated that this installment may be released at the end of June or the beginning of July. However, we are still waiting for official confirmation.

However, sometimes, due to minor errors, farmers are unable to receive the benefits. Therefore, it’s important to correct your information in a timely manner.

1. Completing e-KYC is most important

If you haven’t completed your e-KYC yet, your next installment may be delayed. The government has made it mandatory. Without e-KYC, the money will not be credited to your account. Farmers can easily complete this process by visiting the website pmkisan.gov.in.

2. Keep Aadhaar and bank details correct

Sometimes, payments get stuck due to mismatches between the Aadhaar card and bank account information. A mismatched name spelling or Aadhaar not being linked to the bank is a major reason. In such a situation, farmers should update their details immediately.

3. Land records must be updated

The government is now paying special attention to land seeding, i.e., verification of land records. Farmers whose land documents are not properly updated may be removed from the beneficiary list. Therefore, ensure that your land records are updated and verified.
