PM Kisan Yojana – Big news for Indian Farmers. Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, farmers are given Rs 2,000 every four months. Now, farmers across the country are awaiting the 21st installment. Farmers in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand have already received this installment, while others are wondering when the money will be credited to their accounts.
This time, the government has sent advance installments to approximately 2.7 million farmers in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. The recent floods in these states caused significant losses to farmers, so the government has already issued them an advance installment of Rs 2,000 as relief.
When will the money come into the accounts of the remaining farmers?
The next installment of the PM Kisan Yojana may be credited to farmers’ accounts around Diwali, i.e., by the last week of October 2025. However, no official date has been announced by the central government yet. However, it should be noted that not every farmer will receive this payment. Farmers whose e-KYC is incomplete, whose bank account has errors, or whose farmer registration is not updated will not receive this installment of Rs. 2,000.
Whose account will not receive the money?
The government has clearly stated that no installment will be released without e-KYC. You can complete e-KYC in two ways.
Through online OTP verification on pmkisan.gov.in website.
Or by going to the nearest CSC center and doing fingerprint biometric verification.
If the bank details are wrong then the money will get stuck.
Sometimes the government sends money, but the installment doesn’t arrive in the bank account due to an incorrect IFSC code, a closed account, or a bank account not being linked to Aadhaar. Therefore, be sure to cross-check your bank details.
Land documents are not verified?
If your land documents are not properly updated or verified on the portal, your installment will be stopped. The government is now removing farmers from the list who were receiving benefits by providing incorrect information.
Farmer registry is necessary
Simply registering on the PM Kisan portal is no longer sufficient. Farmers must also enroll in their state’s Farmer Registry. You can complete this process through a CSC center or the Farmer Registry App.
If your name is not in the PM Kisan Beneficiary List, then the installment will not come.
To check name in the list
Go to pmkisan.gov.in.
Click on Beneficiary List
Select State, District, Block and Village
Click on Get Report
If your name is not visible, you will not get the installment.
