If you have not done the e-KYC work, then you will be deprived of the instalment of Rs 2,000. Apart from this, if the Aadhaar card is not linked to the land verification and bank account, then there can be trouble. The government has made it mandatory to do e-KYC to identify the eligible in the scheme. If you do not get this work done, then there will be trouble.

How can farmers do e-KYC?

For this, first of all, you have to go to the official website pmkisan.gov.in on your mobile.

After this, farmers will have to choose the option of e-KYC appearing on the home page.

After this, you will have to fill in Aadhaar and all the necessary details here and enter the OTP received on the number linked to Aadhaar.

After this, the OTP verification will be completed, and the e-KYC work of your PM Kisan account will be completed easily.

How many instalments are received every year?

Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, started by the Modi government, Rs 6,000 is transferred every year in three instalments of Rs 2,000 each. The interval between all the instalments is up to 4 months. The 19th instalment of this scheme was released on 24 February 2025. 9.7 crore farmers benefited from it.
