Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, farmers who are eligible are given a help of ₹ 6,000 every year. This amount is sent directly to the bank accounts of the farmers in three installments of ₹ 2,000. When can the 20th installment of PM Kisan be released?
The official information about when the 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will come has not yet been released by the government. But, according to media reports and indications from the ministry, the date of this installment is expected to be announced soon. There is a strong possibility that the 20th installment can be released in the month of August 2025, possibly around August 2. However, farmers should wait for the official announcement.
The last 19th installment was given in February 2025. This time, the reasons behind the delay may be non-completion of e-KYC, error in Aadhaar linking to bank account, and inconsistencies in land records. The government has clarified that farmers whose information is incomplete will not be paid.
How to apply for Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana

To apply for the scheme, first of all, you have to go to the official portal of PM Kisan Yojana https://pmkisan.gov.in/. If you want, you can also use the official app of the scheme.
On the homepage, you have to click on the ‘New Farmer Registration’. After this, a new page will open in front of you.
Here, you have to choose whether you are a rural farmer or an urban dweller.
Now you have to fill in your Aadhaar number and mobile number. Make sure that your Aadhaar is linked to your bank account and e-KYC is complete.
After this, you have to select your state. Then enter the captcha code given on the screen.
Now an OTP (One Time Password) will come to your registered mobile number. Verify by filling in that OTP.
Finally, you have to upload the relevant documents (like land papers, bank passbook). After filling in all the information, check the form carefully and submit it.
After completing these steps, your application will be done in the PM Kisan Yojana. You can check your application status and your name in the beneficiary list by entering your Aadhaar number or account number in the ‘Beneficiary Status’ section on pmkisan.gov.in.
