PM Kisan: Beneficiary farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana have received their 21st installment before Diwali. On Friday, the central government sent the 21st installment of the PM Kisan Yojana to all eligible farmers in three states. On September 26, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan transferred Rs. 2,000 each to the bank accounts of farmers in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Haryana covered under the PM Kisan Yojana.

The 21st installment of the PM Kisan Yojana has been released ahead of schedule. Normally, this installment was released in the last week of October. This installment has not yet been released for farmers across the country. Therefore, if the money has not yet been credited to your account, there is no need to panic. The 21st installment has been sent ahead of schedule, taking into account the recent floods and landslides in these three states. It should be noted that the government previously released the 20th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana on August 2nd.

The 21st installment was released in these states.

The central government has released the 21st installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme ahead of schedule for only three states. These three states are Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Uttarakhand. This installment has been given ahead of schedule to farmers in these states. Farmers in these states have recently faced disasters, including heavy rains, floods, and landslides, which have severely affected their crops and farms.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare stated that more than ₹540 crore has been transferred to over 27 Lakh  farmers in Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh, including 2.7 million women farmers. This installment was transferred to the accounts of farmers in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Uttarakhand alone.

When was the PM Kisan Yojana launched?
The central government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, launched the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in February 2019. The primary objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to farmers. The funds provided under the PM Kisan Yojana are deposited directly into farmers’ bank accounts.
