Crores of farmers in the country are waiting for the 21st installment of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Before the money is sent to bank accounts, the central government has issued an important update. If you are a beneficiary, this information is very important for you. According to the new guidelines, about 31 lakh farmers may be removed from the list this time.
The government believes some farmers may be receiving the Rs 6,000 annual assistance under PM Kisan in the wrong or illegal way. Because of this, a large verification process has started across the country to identify ineligible farmers before giving the 21st installment.
3 Conditions to Get PM Kisan 21st Installment
Earlier, many farmers’ payments were stopped before the 20th installment because their accounts were considered suspicious or they did not meet all eligibility rules. A similar situation has arisen before the 21st installment. The government is taking strict steps to prevent irregularities and fraud. Farmers who do not meet the following three conditions will have their names removed from the list.
Only One Beneficiary per Family:
In a family, either the husband or the wife can get PM Kisan benefits. If both have received benefits, one name will be removed. About 31.01 lakh cases were found where both husband and wife were receiving money.
Age at Least 18 Years:
Farmers must be 18 years or older to get benefits. Accounts of minors will be removed. About 1.76 lakh accounts of minors have been found.
Land Ownership:
Farmers who bought land for farming after February 1, 2019, will not get benefits. Over 8 lakh farmers may be removed due to this rule.
How to Check Your Status
You can check if you meet all PM Kisan rules by visiting the official portal: pmkisan.gov.in.
Steps:
- Go to the homepage and click “Know Your Status.”
- Enter your PM Kisan registration number and captcha.
- Click “Get OTP” and enter the OTP from your registered mobile.
- Your account details will appear, including eligibility status and last installment.
- Check Eligibility Status: If ✔ or “Yes” is shown next to Land Seeding and e-KYC, your installment will be credited on time.
