PM Kisan Yojana: Big news for every farmers. Following the release of the 22nd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, farmers are eagerly anticipating the 23rd installment. However, it’s essential to complete several important tasks before the next payment arrives; otherwise, the funds may be delayed or your name could be removed from the beneficiary list. This scheme provides farmers with Rs 6,000 annually, distributed in three installments. Unfortunately, minor errors can sometimes prevent farmers from receiving these benefits. Therefore, it’s vital to correct your information promptly.
Completing e-KYC is of utmost importance
If you haven’t finished your e-KYC yet, your next installment might be postponed. The government has made this process mandatory. Without completing e-KYC, the funds will not be transferred to your account. Farmers can easily complete this process by visiting the website pmkisan.gov.in.
Ensure Aadhaar and bank details are accurate.
Payments can sometimes be delayed due to discrepancies between the Aadhaar card and bank account information. Issues like misspelled names or an unlinked Aadhaar can cause significant problems. In such cases, farmers should promptly update their details.
Land records need to be current
The government is now focusing on land seeding, which involves verifying land records. Farmers with outdated land documents may find themselves removed from the beneficiary list. Therefore, make sure your land records are updated and verified.
How to check your status?
Farmers can verify their information under Know Your Status or Beneficiary Status by visiting pmkisan.gov.in. Here, you can check the status of your e-KYC, Aadhaar linking, and land records.
How to complete e-KYC
To complete e-KYC, click on the e-KYC option on the website, enter your Aadhaar number, and finish the process using an OTP. If your mobile number isn’t linked, you can also complete e-KYC through biometrics at your nearest CSC center. If you want your 23rd installment to be credited to your account without any issues, make sure to complete these three tasks now. A small negligence could delay your entire installment.
