PM Kisan: The Bihar Assembly elections have been held , and the results are expected on November 14th . Farmers are hopeful that they will receive their PM Kisan funds soon. A cabinet meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 12th, to determine when the 21st installment of PM Kisan will arrive . The previous 20th installment of PM Kisan was released on August 2 , 2025. An amount of Rs 20,500 crore was transferred to the bank accounts of 97 million farmers across the country. It is now expected that the 21st installment will arrive in November .
What is PM Kisan Yojana?
Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, farmers are given Rs 6,000 annually . This Rs 6,000 is disbursed in three equal installments. This money is transferred to farmers’ bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer.
When will the 21st installment be released?
Last year, the 18th installment was released on October 5, 2024. Therefore, it was anticipated that the 21st installment would arrive by the second week of November 2025, but no announcement has been made by the government. It is now expected that Wednesday ‘s cabinet meeting will reveal when the government might release the 21st installment of PM Kisan.
Installment has already been sent to 4 states
In some states, this payment has already been made . These states include Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Uttarakhand, which were affected by floods. In Jammu and Kashmir, farmers received their payments on October 7, 2025.
Who will benefit this time?
Only those farmers who have completed their e-KYC and registration process will be eligible to receive this installment . Furthermore, linking their Aadhaar card to their bank account is mandatory. If all documents are in order , the installment will be transferred directly to their account .
How to check payment status?
To check the status of their payment, farmers can visit the official PM-KISAN website , pmkisan.gov.in . Click on Know Your Status (KYS) and enter their mobile number or registration number. Alternatively, the status can also be checked through the PM Kisan mobile app or the Kisan eMitra chatbot .
