Epfo Trouble For Bihar Teachers

Thousands of special teachers of Bihar have been making rounds to withdraw their deposits for the last six months, but their hard-earned money is stuck. The reason for this is the negligence of the Education Department and the DPO Establishment Office.

Due to the non-approval of the PAN card of the teachers, their amount is not being withdrawn from the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). Teachers are making rounds of cyber cafes and EPFO offices in Muzaffarpur every day, but every time they get the same answer that first get the PAN approved, only then is payment possible.

Why is the deposit amount of teachers stuck

The case of teachers who have passed the first and second competency examinations is stuck in the process of becoming special from employed. According to the information, when these teachers were employed, their PF contribution used to be deposited in EPFO. But later, after the system changed, their amount started getting deposited in NPS.

Now the teachers want to withdraw the old amount deposited in their EPFO account, but the negligence of the department has increased their difficulties. This matter has been pending for the last six months, and due to the negligence of the employees of the DPO Establishment Office, the PAN number is not getting approved.

Teachers’ displeasure and the administration’s attitude

The teachers are very angry that they are facing so much difficulty in withdrawing their hard-earned money. They say that the department is not taking this problem seriously, which has angered them. The teachers have demanded from the administration that the process of PAN approval be completed as soon as possible so that they can withdraw their deposits. They have also warned that if the solution is not found soon, they will be forced to agitate.

On this matter, District Education Officer Akshay Kumar Pandey has said that information about the matter is being taken, and the solution to the teachers’ problem will be ensured soon. Now it remains to be seen how quickly the administration solves this problem and when these teachers get their hard-earned money back.
