According to the RBI holiday calendar, banks will be closed for a total of 12 days in different cities next month.
November 1, 2025- Banks will remain closed on Saturday, November 1, due to Kut in Manipur, Puducherry Liberation Day in Puducherry, ‘Pradesh Diwas’ in Haryana and Kannada Rajyothsava in Karnataka.
November 2, 2025- Since November 2 is Sunday, banks across the country will remain closed on weekly holidays.
November 5, 2025- Banks will be closed in Odisha and Telangana on Wednesday, November 5, due to Kartik Purnima. Banks will also be closed in most states on account of Guru Nanak Jayanti, although some states, such as Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Dadra Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Manipur, Meghalaya, Odisha, Puducherry, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, and Tripura, will not have this holiday.
November 7, 2025- Banks will remain closed on Friday, November 7 due to Wangala Festival in Meghalaya.
November 8, 2025- Banks will remain closed on Saturday, November 8, on account of Kanakadasa Jayanti in Karnataka as well as second Saturday across the country.
November 9, 2025- Since it is Sunday, banks across the country will remain closed on weekly holidays.
November 11, 2025- Banks will remain closed on Tuesday, November 11 in Sikkim on the occasion of Lhabab Duchen.
November 16, 2025- Banks across the country will remain closed as it is Sunday.
November 22, 2025- Banks will remain closed in all states as it is the fourth Saturday.
November 23, 2025- Banks across the country are closed on Sunday. Banks in Meghalaya will remain closed for Seng Kut Snem.
November 25, 2025- Banks will remain closed in Punjab on Tuesday, November 25 due to Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji’s Martyrdom Day.
November 30, 2025- Since it is Sunday, there will be no work in banks across the country.
Online services will continue
Although banks are closed, online services remain operational during these times. Many banks today offer online services, including internet banking. Through online banking, customers can submit fund transfer requests using NEFT/RTGS transfer forms, demand draft request forms, and checkbook forms. Credit cards, debit cards, and ATM cards can be obtained through card services. Other services, such as account maintenance forms, setting standing instructions, and applying for lockers, are also available.
